Research Facility
This state of the art research facility is part of a large educational centre. Post Contract surveying services were provided for the client. The contract was special in that many building innovations were required to compliment the facility requiring, good communication between the client and design team, allowing the budget to be maintained and the project to be completed on time.
Sub-terranean Structure (London)
Post Contract services were provided for this project. The building comprised of a 10m deep excavation and concrete structure to be formed below an existing property. A complex structural design and sequence resulted in a high degree of budget control and contractual maintenance being provided to the contractor.
Residential Property
J.F. Consulting was requested to provide a “Turnkey” project for the client. This included sourcing and negotiating the land purchase, bringing together the design team to provide the client with a design they were happy to go to planning with, which suited their requirements and was their budget. Planning was gained and Quantity Surveying and Project Management services were provided for the construction phase of the works. Services included procurement, tendering and contractual arrangements, financial control and reporting, programming and planning.
Hospital refurbishment
The client requested pre-contract and post contract Quantity Surveying services on the muti-million concrete frame works. Due to an extremely fast build period the client also required Project Management and Business Management services which JF Consulting provided.
The provision of these services helped to ensure an on time and safe construction phase. The large financial requirement of the project during the build had potential to disrupt the financial running of the clients company. Business Management provided by JF Consulting helped to ensure this did not happen.
